Jan Hendrik Peters has been committed to services his whole career. He was President of the Board of Directors of The Leiden University Medical Center, President of the Dutch Board of the Hotel and Catering Industry, and a professor of service studies in The Netherlands and at several universities in Indonesia. At Bali, he was the strategic advisor of the hotel school STP Bali International. He is the author of many books and publications about management and developed the strategic model “Service Management: Managing the Image”. Nowadays he is living and working in Bali as a journalist, where he is writing about tourism and cultural diversity in Bali Travel Newspaper. He is also the strategic advisor of the THK Foundation in Bali.
